According to a release from the San Joaquin County Sheriffs Office a Stockton Police vehicle was struck by another motorist. Just after 6 pm Thursday deputies were at a home near the corner of Boone Rd and Night Train Ln for a call about shots fired. This outstanding course taught by two highly experienced master police trainers provides every investigator and police administrator with the latest requirements and needs for competent investigation of that most visible and scrutinized police activity the Officer-Involved Shooting OIS or death.
Course Description - This 36-hour course provides an introduction to the investigative techniques utilized in officer involved shootings and other use of deadly force incidents.
Historically these critical incidents in California had been primarily handled by local law enforcement agencies and the states 58 district attorneys. LACC will make the notification to the next of kin and officially start their own independent investigation as to the cause of death. The cover officer will not let you out of their sight even if you need to use the rest room. This course is hosted by the Tacoma Police Department.
