Officer Involved Shooting Joplin Mo. By Dennis Romero and Antonio Planas. This evening the Joplin Police Department stated that two officers are still in the hospital.
March 8 2022 One Joplin Police Officer and the suspect involved in todays shooting have died. The Joplin Police Department says the incident which took place at 10th and Chestnut around 1130 pm. Missouri records show he pleaded guilty in 2021 to Driving Violations and Drug Paraphernalia Charges.

KFVS - A deputy received minor injuries in a shoot-out with a man living in a camper. Taylor 45 was taken into. Joplin Police have identified the officers who were at the scene of that officer-involved fatal shooting Saturday afternoon.
